Si tiene una cardiopat\u00eda cong\u00e9nita (CC), puede que necesite un marcapasos o un DAI. Esto puede estar causado por la propia enfermedad card\u00edaca o las terapias administradas, incluidas las correcciones quir\u00fargicas. En el caso de CC, la implantaci\u00f3n de un dispositivo resulta m\u00e1s compleja debido a las particularidades anat\u00f3micas. Principalmente, el acceso al coraz\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de los vasos puede ser diferente que en los pacientes sin CC y puede que la circulaci\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea se comunique entre las c\u00e1maras derechas y las c\u00e1maras izquierdas del coraz\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, los pacientes con CC a menudo necesitan la implantaci\u00f3n de un dispositivo durante un largo per\u00edodo de su vida. T\u00e9cnicamente, la monitorizaci\u00f3n y el seguimiento del dispositivo es el mismo que en el caso de los pacientes sin CC.<\/p>\n

En caso de embarazo, no existen precauciones especiales relacionadas con la presencia de un marcapasos o de un desfibrilador. No hay interferencia entre la implementaci\u00f3n y el funcionamiento del dispositivo y el feto.
