Los DAI transvenosos pueden producir descargas de desfibrilaci\u00f3n o estimular el coraz\u00f3n de forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida que una arritmia para ralentizarlo. Al igual que los marcapasos, estos tambi\u00e9n pueden estimular el coraz\u00f3n.
